Default Streaming GW1 today. LFG

I hope this thread isn't in the wrong place. I don't think it is breaking rules to post this.

Today from nowish until 22:00 Central European Time (maybe more like midnight or after) I am streaming GW1. It has been maybe 2 years since I played but I thought the GW2 players should take a look.

Stream is at http://www.twitch.tv/thordtv

It would be really nice if anyone could group up with me. Shouldn't take me long to get back into the hang of things. Most of the time I will play with a Warrior called "Deben Mirrew" who was my main.

If you don't get a reply ingame from me right way please try again, maybe someone will want to see Character creation, another char type, etc. If I am asked to play with something other than a Warrior for a long time I'll post that name here later.

Not sure I understand. So you supposedly want people to watch you play Guild Wars? You want GW 2 gamers to watch you to see what GW 1 is like? Most if not everyone here plays GW 1 because it's a GW 1 forum. And anyone can just look up game footage on youtube.

Easy answer. I stream what I want to play and Tuesday was Guildwars revisit day. I used to "live" in GW fancied another look so I streamed it same as do whatever I happen to be playing. Most popular Stream ever was the first Diablo game, now there's a dead game xD

Why are you posting on a forum about a dead game?

Unless you're referring to Guild Wars 2, if so...wow that was fast.

Easy answer. I stream pretty much everyday. Since its release I had been streaming GW2. Those who watch my stream are mostly GW2 players. I thought those GW2 players who had never played GW1 might enjoy watching it. However my reason for streaming was really because I wanted to play GW for a day, I stream what I play if someone watches nice if not then no problem for me.

AWW I didn't notice this thread until now and I am sad I missed the stream - would have been fun to watch. Were you starting from scratch? Remember how much fun GW was before heros and OP skills, when you had to work at it?

BTW wouldn't Nolani be the place for streams?

No I wasn't starting from scratch. I was playing with a Character (Warrior) who had finished Factions, 3 Missions from the end of Nightfall, about 80% of Prophecies done and about 80% of Eye of the North. He was my Explorer and played solo for ages. There was a lot I had forgotten about Skills etc which took a while to pickup on.

I have played away from the stream since then starting a new Necromancer in Nightfall to play with alongside my wife's new Mesmer. The idea is to do all Campaigns from start to finish.

I feel a bit sad when I go to an empty Kamadan, maybe 3 or 4 others there. There used to be too many there now not enough

I would like to stream GW again but I am finding the server connection very slow and lost connection several times. I had assumed that was the Servers rather than me but either way I thought best to not have XSplit running at the same time as GW.

Didn't think about Nolani. My thoughts were to visit the Shiverpeaks which feature in GW2, I had to choose somewhere of course Thing is it only took me an hour or two to finish the Charr missions so I decided to go on to Asuran Missions, nearly finished those that day which surprised me. Maybe next time I will try to run through the Missions from the start in Prohecies, would mean repeating lots but nice to watch maybe.

I think so, but I would have thought playing it through with a new char and therefore no heroes and proph only skills would be more watchable than steamrolling through with an established char and heroes.

I think I was unclear, I wondered whether the post might get more attention here....

Funny you should say that. Created two new Necros the other day, one for solo one for playing with my wife.
